Setup guide

From zero to your first published video. Every step is here, so you never get stuck in the middle.

Why it runs locally. VEXA installs on your own computer, not in a browser tab. That is what lets it keep the memory of your whole business, work across your files, and act like a partner you build up over time instead of a chat that forgets you.
STEP 1

Install Claude Code

Claude Code is the ground VEXA runs on. Install it on your computer and sign in with your Anthropic account. This is where the model usage is billed, under your own account. Get it at claude.com/product/claude-code.

STEP 2

Add VEXA

After you buy, you get a personal download link. It installs VEXA as an MCP on top of Claude Code — one command, no code. The exact line comes with your purchase, so you copy, paste, and you are set.

STEP 3

Install DaVinci Resolve

The free video editor where you do the last check on your cuts. Download it from blackmagicdesign.com. VEXA hands you a ready timeline, so this stays a quick pass, not a full edit.

STEP 4

Say hello to VEXA

Open your project folder in Claude Code and just say hello. VEXA walks you through the setup: she asks about your business, who you sell to, and how you talk. From your answers she builds the workspace and the memory. You only answer — she does the wiring.

STEP 5

Make your first video

Give VEXA an idea — type it, or say it with VEXA Voice. She reads the field, finds the angle, writes the script in your voice, and puts it on the teleprompter. You record. She cleans the takes and animates the beats. You re-check the cut in DaVinci for twenty to thirty minutes, publish on your word, and she pulls the metrics. Then the loop starts again, sharper.

VEXA Voice. To hand VEXA an idea by voice, VEXA Voice turns your speech into text with Deepgram. You add your own free Deepgram API key in its settings once — after that you just talk, and the transcript drops straight into your work.
